Jet Ski Ride
Jet Ski is the brand name of a personal watercraft manufactured by Kawasaki, a Japanese company. The term is often used generically to refer to any type of personal watercraft used mainly for recreation, and it is also used as a verb to describe the use of this type of water vehicle.
The thrill of skimming over the water on a Jet Ski at 75 kilometres per hour is the ultimate adrenalin buzz in water sports. Jet skiing is a fairly developed sport worldwide through in India it is virtually absent.
Watercrafts in India are mostly limited to riding water scooters, a fibre glass watercraft with an out board motor of up to 20 horse power notching up a speed of 30 kilometres per hour at full throttle. In comparison the horse power of Jet Skis can go up to 130 horse power. The propeller of a water scooter is exposed and there is a risk of injury in case the rider falls in the water. Jet Skis are not only faster but safer as there are no exposed moving parts.
Unlike the western countries the concept of water sports in India has been limited to the idea of joy rides. Lack of water sports centres and the availability of wider range of equipment have resulted in the lack of interest and growth as a real sport in the country.
ATV Quad Biking
An all-terrain vehicle (ATV), also known as a quad, quad bike, three-wheeler, four-wheeler or quadricycle as defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a vehicle that travels on low-pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control.
ATV Quad bike rentals are also a good way to boost revenue of the site such as yours. These machines are all terrain capable and pose a low risk to renters in a beach environment. Furthermore these bikes can also be used in conjunction to ferry equipment thus reducing man power and increasing efficiency. Quad biking is very easy and is a great hit with people who are scared of water and not ready to shell out money for the Jet Ski rental.
Banana Boat Rides
A banana boat (or water sled), is an unpowered, inflatable recreational boat meant to be towed. Different models usually accommodate three to ten riders sitting on a larger, main tube and resting their feet on two laterally flanking tubes which stabilize the boat. The main tube is often yellow and banana-shaped. Some models have two main tubes.
Inner Tube Rides
An inner tube is a balloon-like structure, which can be inflated and deflated using a valve. The inner tube is your air-cushion; and when inflated beneath the tyre, it is what provides you with a comfortable, safe ride.
Bumpy Rides
Bumpy Rides are an amusement park ride that uses inner tube shaped watercraft that can be steered by the rider. Some are driven by electric motors, some by gasoline engines, and some require the rider to propel the craft by pedaling. Most are equipped with water guns for duels with other riders. It is a very funny adventure ride.
Kayaks
A kayak is a small boat that is driven by manpower. It typically has a covered deck, and a cockpit covered by a spraydeck. It is propelled by a double-bladed paddle by a sitting paddler.
Kayak is a small, narrow watercraft which is propelled by means of a double-bladed paddle. The traditional kayak has a covered deck and one or more cockpits, each seating one paddler. The cockpit is sometimes covered by a spray deck that prevents the entry of water from waves or spray and makes it possible for suitably skilled kayakers to roll the kayak: that is, to capsize and right it without it filling with water or ejecting the paddler.
Speed Boat Rides
A speedboat or powerboat is a boat which is powered by an engine. Some motorboats are fitted with inboard engines, others have an outboard motor installed on the rear, containing the internal combustion engine, the gearbox and the propeller in one portable unit.
Forget the dangerous fishing boats that people in Digha used to rent to go into the sea. Adeline introduces speed boats that ride the waves and can take you deep into the sea without the risk. An excellent family adventure on speed boats that can sit 8 passengers.
Inflatable Boat Ride
An inflatable boat is a lightweight boat constructed with its sides and bow made of flexible tubes containing pressurised gas. For smaller boats, the floor and hull is often flexible, while for boats longer than 3 metres (9.8 ft), the floor typically consists of three to five rigid plywood or aluminium sheets fixed between the tubes, but not joined rigidly together. Often the transom is rigid, providing a location and structure for mounting an outboard motor.
These boats are very stable in the water, making them safe for young and old boaters alike. Every buoyancy tube has several air compartments, so it will stay afloat even if one chamber is compromised.
FRP Boat Ride
FRP Paddler boat is mainly used for fun and entertainment purpose. It is designed using supreme grade material and ultra-modern machines under the guidance of skilled professionals. Further, it is strictly checked on different quality parameters assuring its flawlessness at user's end.
Safety
All Adeline sites have thesefacilities
- Personal flotation devices
- First Aid and Trauma kits
- Life guard on duty
- First Aid recurring training to staff
All sites also have a primary risk assessment done before any activities are to be started. Assessment is also done on the surroundingenvironment, tidal movement of the river , so that our activities do not pose a threat to the participant ,environment and local flora and fauna.
